We hope you will find plenty of information about the professional service we provide in our nurseries within the borough of Merthyr Tydfil.

At Funtazia we provide a high quality range of services to children and families which will set standards of excellence for children's development through play, care and education. We will endeavour to provide a happy, stimulating environment for every child and encourage all parents to be actively involved.

We care for babies and children aged 6 weeks up to 11 years old offering a wide range of services from full and part time childcare, wraparound, breakfast club, after school club, holiday club and pick up services to and from a wide variety of schools.

Funtazia in Pentrebach, Merthyr Tydfil is a purpose built nursery situated within an Integrated Children's Centre close to the A470.

Funtazia in Prince Charles Hospital, Merthyr Tydfil is a purposely converted nursery situated in the grounds of the hospital close to both the A465 and A470.

Funtazia in Dowlais, Merthyr Tydfil is a purposely converted nursery situated in a village close to the A465.

Registered Early Years Education Provider

Funtazia at Prince Charles hospital is registered with the local education authority as an early year's education provider, thus enabling parents of children aged three to access more choice, with placement being partly funded by the local authority. The nursery has been inspected by ESTYN having achieved many outstanding features (please see report on the ESTYN website).

All three nurseries follow the Birth to Three and Foundation Phase frameworks. All the nurseries have separate rooms for babies, toddlers, pre-school and out of school children.

We are registered and inspected by CSSIW, annual inspection reports are available to view on their website www.cssiw.gov.uk and also at each nursery.

Opening Times are between 7.30am - 6pm with full and part time places available.
